Mary Betty"" Elizabeth Biggs

Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Biggs, 95, of Kimball, died at the Kimball County Manor on Thursday, January 29, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, February 2, 2015 at the Kimball Presbyterian Church in Kimball with Pastor Alan Foutz officiating. Burial will be in the Kimball Cemetery. Mary Elizabeth Biggs was born on August 22, 1919, the daughter of Marion and Anna Lora (Elkington) Peake. She attended elementary school in Colorado and then graduated from the Kimball County High School. Betty was married to John Teare in Akron, Colorado and to this union Kathleen, Jane and Sharon were born. The family farmed and ranched in Colorado. John preceded her in death in 1953. She was married to Robert R. Biggs in 1957 and to this union Richard “Moe” and Maggie joined the family with Roberts’s children Bill and John. The family farmed and ranched. Robert preceded her in death in 1992.

Survivors include her children, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Jane and sister Florence.
