Hello, Duayne is my son when he came into my life when I married his mother, Diana. Duayne was, is and always will be the sweetest man God put onto this world. It is sad to lose a son, it is not the order of things. Duayne is gentle as part of a gentleman. The 3 siblings were the 3 Musketeers Duayne, Sherrie and Stacey Lee were, now and forever. They stuck together like glue even now these friends are still tight with one another. This may not be the appropriate story but it seems to be how funny Duayne was. He was driving home late at night, maybe after having a couple of beers. As, most people know, Michigan has terrible snow and Duayne ended upside down. He was wise enough to be in his seatbelt hanging upside down. He smelled gasoline running all over the car, him and wetting the fabric below him. When a hot engine is making that sound click, click, you know the hot engine should not be close to gasoline. Duayne, the funny man, hanging upside down, trapped and said “If I get out of this mess, I will never drink another beer forever.” In addition to the sweetest man, he is quite a funny guy. May he rest in peace!!

Hey uncle Duayne. Just checking up to see how you are, although I know you are doing just fine. I miss and love you lots!

Hey Uncle DJ. Just thought I would let you know, you have been on my mind a lot lately. Same with my Nana and great grandparents. I miss and love you tons!

My dearest Duayne,
I realized something tonight, that you have been gone longer than it took you to ask me to marry you.  I want you to know I love and miss you everyday. I wouldn't have missed it for the world.  I am proud to be calles Mrs. Duayne Jaynes!!

It's insane how much I miss you. I wish you were back here with me watching Tigers and Rangers games. I love you so much!! Happy One-Monthaversary in Heaven

Hi Duaynie Bug.  I never imagined that when I saw you the end of last year, that it would be the last time on this earth.  I will see you in a more beautiful place the next time we see each other.  I got "poked" by you a few days ago and just lost it.  I cried for two days.  I said something to Stacey and she said Rhonda was did it.  I guess I just wasn't prepared and it caught me off guard.  God must really be planning something important to need both you and mom so close together. I love you so much and miss you everyday, Sherry

I had a customer yesterday. His birthday was the same day as yours but 2 years earlier. It's still really difficult trying to understand that you are gone forever. You were so young. On the inside I got mad at that man. I'm not really sure why though. I just know that I miss you a whole lot and I want you back I love you!

You may be gone but your livin in my heart! I love you so much Uncle D. Words can't describe how amazing you were, and your the best Uncle ever and always will be!! I'll miss you more than anyone can imagine. Not a day goes by that i don't think of you. <3

Ohhh Duayne, what a beautiful service they held in your honor today ! You would have been so proud. Since I just saw you 2 week's ago, I was unable to make it back to the service, but Rhonda and Dustin made sure that Me, Sherry, Dad and Jessica were able to be apart of it by calling each of us and putting us on speaker phone so we could hear all of it. They really did you justice ! It's so hard to look at any picture's of us, of you, and believe you really have went on another Journey. I know it's real, but am still so shocked. I know it's truly going to hit me soon. I Love You so very much and couldn't be more proud to call you my Brother !!

It is very hard to accept that you have went on to see your Mom, Grandpa and Grandma and your Dad. It seems like only yesterday that you were that little blonde headed boy running around the yard playing or swimming in your mom's pool in Hamilton Meadows. We have watched you grow into an adult with his own family and grandchild. It's hard to believe you have left us, but your no longer suffering and that means a lot to us. Uncle Duayne...what can I say?? I knew of you my whole life..heard amazing things and saw great pictures. It wasn't until recently we connected and found our mutual interest in baseball. I am so greatful for being able to go see you a couple months ago before we knew of your illness and you seemed so healthy. We had a great time went to a couple of Tigers games..who knew they would be the last you went to. We became so close so fast and know your gone and I'm lost. I miss you so much. You will forever be in my heart and always on my mind. I love you Uncle Duayne

I can't believe you have went to Heaven. You are one amazingly awesome person and inspiring and a HUGE impact on my family and your family. Especially my mom and aunt Sherry. And Im really glad that you got to meet up with Nana (your mom) and great grandma and grandpa (your grandma and grandpa.) I will never forget the time you came to Wyoming last year for Dani's graduation, and all of the fun times we had. Like driving to Wheatland, and all of us driving around Cheyenne, and of course when you surprised us by coming to our house! I miss you so much. We all do. I know you are looking down on us very proud and we are looking up on you very proud for trying so hard. You are one of the best uncle's I could have. I'll see you later in Heaven ok Uncle Duayne? You have been one of my hero's Duayne from the very beginning. We have always been so exceptionally close. I always admired you ! We were always two pea's in a pod. I have the most wonderful, caring, beautiful sibling's. It's hard to accept you are gone for now from here. You will never truly be gone. You will be in my heart continually no matter where I go. Our conversation's will be a little different now, but I hope you will still answer. I can only wonder what it was like when you met up with Mom, Grandma,Grandpa and Josie. Is it the joyous union we hoped it would be for you ? Oh so many question's I have. You really held on hard Duayne and we are all so very proud of you. You definitely did the best you could. I expect you to be here for me now even more then ever ! I still need you ! The outpouring of love that you have been receiving is just beautiful Duayne ! You will always be with me Duayne !
