Eugene Jacob Bembeneck

Eugene Jacob Bembeneck, age 85 of Kingsley, passed away on March 9, 2016 at his home. He as the loving husband of 64 years to Phyllis. Cherished father of Donald (Diane) Bembeneck, Gloria (Robert) Mackey and Randy Bembeneck. Dear grandpa of Randy Bembeneck, Amy Jackson and Carrie Bembeneck. Great Grandpa of 6 and Great-Great Grandpa of 3. Brother of Robert Bembeneck, Al Bembeneck and Kathy (Charles) Lautner. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Eugene proudly served his country from 1951-1957 in the United States Army. He enjoyed everything about the outdoors; fishing, gardening and especially working with his wife, Phyllis at deer camp on Fox Island. Eugene treasured spending time with his grandchildren, especially the babies. His love for his family was unconditional. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016; Noon with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Hannah Catholic Church in Kingsley. Military honors and inurnment will follow at St. Mary’s Hannah Cemetery. Memorial contributions made to Eugene’s family to aid in the cost of funeral expenses are greatly appreciated.
