Ronald R. Lueck

Ronald R. Lueck, age 66, of Kingsley passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 at Munson Medical Center with his family by his side. Ron was born August 8, 1948 in Traverse City to Emerald and Dora (Cook) Lueck. He graduated from Kingsley High School in 1967. On December 20, 1969, Ron married Nancy Jo Potts in Traverse City. Together they raised 4 children.

Ron retired from the stainless fabrication industry after over 40 years of service. In his spare time, Ron enjoyed golfing, deer hunting, gardening, and tinkering in the garage. He also loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Ron will be greatly missed by his wife, Nancy; 4 children: Robert (Tanya) Lueck of Kingsley, Joseph (Elaine) Lueck of Traverse City, Melissa (Justin) Orth of Fife Lake, and Tammy (Michael) Arlt of Kingsley; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; siblings: Mary (Jay) Ockert, Duane (Paulette) Lueck , and Chester Lueck; many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his sister Norma Cole.

A visitation will be held Monday, June 1, 2015 from 6-8pm at the Covell Funeral Home in Kingsley. A funeral will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 11 am with visitation one hour prior at the Kingsley United Methodist Church. Burial will take place at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions in Ron’s name may be directed to the Kingsley United Methodist Church or the Kingsley High School Band Boosters.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Covell Funeral Home of Kingsley.
