Scott Wesley Smith

Scott enjoyed camping, kayaking and socializing with his many friends.

Scott is survived by his very close and longtime friend, Joni Schmuckal, of Kingsley; his daughter, Holli Pippin, of Grayling; his son, Christopher S. Smith, of Kingsley; stepson, Daniel Rose Jr,. of Kingsley; stepdaughter, Jennifer Rose, of Kingsley; five grandkids; his two remaining sisters, Shen Smith, of Elk Rapids, and Rebecca Smith-Miles, of Manistique.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Jody Smith (Georges); and many aunts and uncles.

The family is preparing a special remembrance for Scott at the Kingsley Sportsman's Club on Sunday, Sept. 25, from 1 until 4 p.m., and would like his friends and family to attend.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Kingsley Sportsman's Club, 6095 South Garfield Road, Kingsley, MI 49649.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Covell Funeral Home of Kingsley.
