Arnold Fletcher

Arnold Fletcher,81, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2015, at Holston Valley Medical Center. He was born on November 13, 1933 in Rowe, Virginia to the late Claude Fletcher and Fannie Nuckles Fletcher. A retired Kingsport banker and realtor; he was an avid outdoorsman, fisherman and lover of bluegrass music. In addition to his parents; he is preceded in death by one sister, Betty Fletcher of Nicklesville, VA. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Eva Keen Fletcher; daughter, Michelle Hunt; brother, Jerry Fletcher and wife Brenda of Fletcher’s Ridge, VA; five sisters, Irene Compton and husband Herman of Council, VA, Peggy Keen and husband EG, Joann Keen and husband Benny, both of Bristol, TN, Shirley Compton of Honaker, VA and Darlene Ratliff and husband Tim of Fletcher’s Ridge, VA. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the local food bank in your community. In honor of Arnold’s wishes, he was an organ donor and no public services will be held.
