

Audrey Muriel Grubb, 77, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2014, at the Wexford House. Mrs. Grubb was born June 11, 1937 in Indian Springs, Tennessee a daughter of the late Edgar James Browder and Mabel Matilda Cole Browder. She had lived most of her life in the Kingsport area surrounded by loving family and friends, was a homemaker and was a member of Vermont United Methodist Church. Mrs. Grubb was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-seven years, John Henry Grubb and one sister-in-law, Margaret Browder.
Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Grubb Gilliam; granddaughter, April Gilliam; grandson, Bryan Gilliam and wife Amber; great granddaughter, Brynley Gilliam; one sister, Kaye Malone and husband Rick; four brothers, Raymond Browder, Kyle Browder and wife Carolyn, Norman Browder and wife Jean and Wayne Browder and wife Cookie; and several nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service for Mrs. Audrey Browder Grubb will be held Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 7:00pm in the East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Leighton Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm in the East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be held Friday, July 11, 2014 at 11:00am in Garden of Prayer of East Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Brandon Browder, Chris Browder, Trevor Browder, Scott Trivett, Jerry Quillen and Jeff Daniel.
The family extends their gratitude to the staff of Wexford House for the years of care given to Mrs. Grubb.
