Bonnie was preceded in death by her father, Hugh Kyle Hutson; her mother, Vona Lee Gilliam; her step-father, J. E. Walters; her husband, Sevier Cavin; and her sister, Barbara Mullins.
Those who survive and will cherish Bonnie’s memory include her brothers, Curtis “Moe” Ray Hutson, Roy Hutson, Bobby Hutson, and Paul Hutson; her nieces, Rhonda, Susan, and Jennifer; her nephews, Tim, David, Mike, and Lynn; and many loved and cherished Great and Great-Great Nieces and Nephews, friends, and loved ones.
A beloved presence in the lives of those around her, Bonnie found her greatest joy in the simple, lasting gifts of togetherness. She loved spending time with her husband, Sevier, and she cared for her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children—offering steady attention, warmth, and a devotion that made family feel close and certain.
Bonnie’s days were often shaped by the comforts she enjoyed most: fishing, quilting, yard saling, icecream, and family time. She also had a fond taste for a peanut butter and banana sandwich—though anyone who tried to make one for her learned quickly that the peanut butter might not be where they expected. It had a very special place in the refrigerator, where it was often hard as a rock, a small and familiar detail that still brings a smile to those who knew her best.
