

KINGSPORT — Brent Leimkuhler, 54, of Kingsport, passed away on July 7, 2010.
He was born June 24, 1956, in Kingsport, to Martin and Sarah Leimkuhler, and has resided in Kingsport for all of his life.
Mr. Leimkuhler recently retired and was of the Baptist faith. He was a lover of music, a musician and songwriter. He knew no strangers and was a friend to all that knew him. He loved life and was a great cook.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Sarah L e i m k u h l e r.
Survivors include his spouse of 20 years, Pam Hayes Leimkuhler; brother, Marty Leimkuhler of Jonesborough; s i s t e r- i n - l a w, Kim Hayes; b r o t h e r- Hayes, Lennie in-laws, Rick Hayes; nieces, Hayden and Olivia Leimkuhler of Kingsport, Becky Hayes; nephews, Mikey Hayes and Davey Hayes; great nephews, Kade, Zachery and Logan Hayes.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home.
Services will be conducted on Monday at 2 p.m. with Dr. Greg Burton officiating.
Graveside services will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Joe Allison, Erich Allen, Greg Wallace, Chris Hickman, Dave Hayes, Tracie Lee Starnes, Scott Williams and Mike Mason.
Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Ketron, Tommy Ketron and Galin Ketron.
