Carolyn Jones Holbert

Susie’s sunrise was on October 06, 1954, in Wake County, North Carolina to the late Otis Lee Allen and Pauline Gray Privett Allen Susie loved to color, to clean the house, and to always have beautiful flowers in sight. She will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were the apples of her eye.

She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Alfred Buddy Jones; second husband, Lebertis Holbert, Jr.; siblings, Johnny, Wayne, Holt, Charlene, Becky, and Billy Joe Allen.

Survivors include her son, Mike (Yvonne) Jones; daughter and caregiver, Sharon (Shannon) Fogle; brother, Ernest (Brenda) Allen; three grandchildren, Christopher (Windi) McCall, Matthew (Tessa) McCall, and Logan Alfred Jones. Susie is also survived by five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and her best friend, Sharon West.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 2:00 P.M. until 3:45 P.M. at East Lawn Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 4:00 P.M. in the East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Corey Grainger officiating.
