Connie Milhorn Zimmerman

Connie Milhorn Zimmerman, age 69 of Kingsport, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 04, 2012 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Mrs. Zimmerman was a Sullivan County Native and the daughter of the late Robert Afton and Edith Lorrane Good. She was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church and had retired from Brookhaven Nursing Home as a Billing Clerk. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Sam Zimmerman.

Survivors include a son, Robbie Milhorn and his wife Rebecca; a daughter, Cheryl Chandler and her husband Scott; one sister Jean Jones; grandchildren: Jeremy Nash, Daniel Nash, Hunter Milhorn and Alexa Chandler; a good friend and the father of her children, Wayne Milhorn.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 6, 2012 in the sanctuary of Bethany Presbyterian Church from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life Service following at 8:00 p.m. with the Rev. Chuck Echols officiating. A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in East Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Tim Gammon, Scott Gammon, Brian Klepper, Mark Phelps, Jeremy Nash and Scott Chandler. Honorary pallbearers will be Albert Walton and Daniel Nash. Everyone is asked to assemble at the cemetery by 10:45 a.m. for the service.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Presbyterian Church at 5825 Fort Henry Drive, Kingsport, Tennessee 37663.
