Gene Caroll Williams age 90, passed away February 11, 2024. Gene taught the 1st grade for many years before retiring in 1983. She was a devoted church member and to her community. She was an avid reader. She also loved traveling with Australia being one of her favorite destinations. Gene loved unconditionally and will be missed beyond words.
She is preceded in death by her step father Claude P. Hoover, mother Opal (Hommell) Hoover and her brother Jim Ray Williams. She is survived by her godson Andrew Sage, her brother Harris (Marydell) Hoover, her sister Patsy Jetter, family friend Mary Helton and family along with many other nieces and nephews of the Hoover family.
Visitation and service will be held at Heritage First Church of God, Sunday, February 18, 2024 at 3pm.
