Helen Holt

Helen Holt, 89, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2015, at the Wexford House. Mrs. Holt was born on December 7, 1925 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Joseph Bachman Morton and Katherine Mercer Morton. Mrs. Holt was a very loving housewife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Blountville Christian Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holt was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Holt; two brothers, Neal Morton and Howard Morton; and one sister, Ruth Korporl.

Survivors include her two sons, Terry Holt, of Kernersville, NC, and Joey Holt, of Blountville, TN; four grandchildren, Zachary Holt, Caitlin Holt, Cheyanne Holt and Shallico Holt; one great grandson, Braelyn Vance; and one brother, Joe B. Morton, Jr. and wife Jean, of Kingsport, TN.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 23, 2015 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral Services for Mrs. Helen Holt will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at 7:00pm in the East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with David Jones officiating. Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 11:00am in the Garden of Apostles at East Lawn Memorial Park.
