Helen Lucille Morrison

Helen Lucille Morrison, age 83 of Kingsport, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Morrison was a Kingsport native and the daughter of the late Frank and Loula Gragg. She was a former nurse’s aid.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carson Morrison, a sister, Madeline Gragg and several cousins.

Survivors include: daughters, Linda Rhoten and family, Pam Lawson and family and Teresa Morrison of Kingsport; one son, Timothy Morrison and family; sisters, Kathleen, Ruth, Noladine and Trula, along with several special cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service for Helen Morrison will be conducted on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 12:00 pm in the chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home with Chaplin Jerry Ketron officiating. Entombment will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 27, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

The family would like to thank the staff at Wellmont Hospice, Smoky Mountain Hospice and Dr. Stirman and staff for all of their care for Mrs. Morrison.
