JoAnn was a 1986 graduate of Dobyns Bennett High School. She loved working several jobs in the work place. She enjoyed bowling for many years with the Super Cats along with her special friends. JoAnn loved the Lord and had many friends whom she loved and they loved her. She loved fishing, traveling to the beach, watching sports, and all kinds of music, especially gospel music and Dolly Parton. She was a member of West View Baptist Church. JoAnn was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend; she will be greatly missed.
JoAnn is survived by her mother, Sharon Owens & step-father, Elmo, whom she loved dearly; father, John Williams & step-mother, Carolyn; sister, Debra Gardner & husband John; brother, Jonathan Williams; grandmother, Herdesene Hicks; special nephew, Sean King; nephew, Jacob Williams; nieces, Lacodya & husband Dustin Collins, Katelynn Williams, and Megan Williams; several special aunts, uncles, and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday (April 24, 2018) from 12:00 noon to 2 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow with Pastor Mike Stout and Pastor Mike Culbertson. Special music will be provided by Carl Seaver.
JoAnn will be laid to rest on Tuesday (April 24, 2018) at 3 p.m. in the Garden of Apostles at East Lawn Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
