Joey Scott Fields

Joey (Joe) Scott Fields, age 49, of Kingsport passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at his residence from complications of declining health. He was born on July 7, 1962 to the late Paul Fields and Jackie Mullenix Fields. He was a 1980 graduate of Central High School, and received an engineering degree from Tri-State Technical Institute. Mr. Field’s was employed by Mac Tech Engineering, and also worked at the airport.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Clarece Fields and maternal grandparents, Jack and Melva Mullenix.

Survivors include his sisters, Terry Ratliff, Kim (Jack) McKeehan, and Tammy (Benny) Jeesee, brother, Todd Fields, a half brother, Lynn (Sandra) Fields and a half sister, Sue Wagner, along with several nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, and a special friend, Allen Feilds and Taylor.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 20, 2012 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at East Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
