

John Larry Kitzmiller, age 63, passed away on February 17, 2014 at Hospice House in Bristol, TN. He was surrounded by his loving family, Pastor and friend, Ernie Steffey. He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. John was also a member of Whiteside Lodge No.13. He was also a member of Jericho Temple. John was preceded in death by his parents, John H. Kitzmiller and Ocia Chambliss; a brother, Donny Kitzmiller; sister, Judy Weaver. Survivors include his loving, devoted wife and caregiver of 39 years, Ruby Kitzmiller; loving son, Jonathan Shane Kitzmiller and his wife Julie; one step-grandson, Bobby Trivette; sister, Lou Wright and husband Jack; brother, Freddie Kitzmiller and wife Mildred; step-father, Will Chambliss; special children, Parker and Brittany Kitzmiller which were the love of his life; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at East Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Ernie Steffey officiating. Music will by provided by Eddie and Susan Smith. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Billy Federow, Will Federow, Mack Moore, Will Earhart, Spencer Moody, Wayne Jones and Harold Glover and Butch Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Fred Moore, Gary Jones, Bobby Hobbs, Buddy Hilton, Bill Jones, Mack Moore, Jr. and Harry Moore.
