Johnny F. Christian

Johnny F. Christian, 85, of Kingsport, TN, went home to be with the Lord on January 18, 2023. Johnny was a graduate of Blountville High School and later went on to retire from General Shale Brickyard after many years of dedicated service. He loved the Lord and was a member of Arcadia Presbyterian Church. Johnny was preceded in death by: his parents, John and Hattie Christian; Wife Hazel H Christian; sisters, Pauline Tester, and infant sister; brothers, Bill Christian and JD Christian. His survivors include: daughter, Vanessa Christian; grandsons, Wes Christian, Brandon Carter; great grandson, Bentlee Christian; brothers, Calvin Christian (Kate), Larry Christian (Shirley); sister, Mary Ruth Bates (G.D.); fur babies, Bella, Rascal; sister-in-law, Reba Good (Randy); along with several nieces, nephews, and friends. The Christian family will gather to greet friends and share memories on Sunday January 22, 2023 from 1-2 PM in the Chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow at 2 PM with Pastor Larry Stallard officiating. A Graveside Service will follow the funeral service at East Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Wes Christian, Brandon Carter, Jack Jones, Skip Tester, Cody Henry, and Andy Armstrong.
