

Kenneth Gregory (Kenny) McCoy, 57, of Blountville, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 11, 2011 in Nashville following an illness. Kenny was born in Welch, W.V. to father Albert James McCoy, III and Ramona Jean. He was married to wife, Rhonda, in Van, W.V. in 1985. They relocated to Tennessee in 1988, where he cofounded McCoy’s Salvage Grocery in Bloomingdale, Tn. He enjoyed playing tennis and driving his MGB roadster with the top down in the summertime. Kenny was a true family man who loved spending time with those closest to him. He felt fortunate to have many friends. He was a caring and generous man who loved life. Kenny is survived by his wife, Rhonda, sons, Colton and K.G both of the home, father, Albert James III of Kingsport, sister, Donna of Texas, brothers, Chris and Jamie both of Kingsport, and many adoring nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ramona Jean. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 17th, from noon to 2:00 p.m.at East Lawn Funeral Home, with funeral services to be held at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.
