

Leeta “Cleo” Glover Harr, 91, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 1, 2015, at LifeCare Center of Gray, Tennessee. She was born on October 5, 1923 in Piney Flats, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her parents; Andrew Glover and Delores Morris Glover; husband, Claude Allen Harr; three brothers; and one sister. Ms. Harr was a homemaker and loved crafts, crochet, cooking, Bible Study and fellowship with her church family. She was very active in church and serving the Lord was her life. Left to cherish her memory; son, Gordon Harr and wife Peggy; daughter, Linda Harr Sluss; grandchildren, Dr. Tammy Sluss, Randall Sluss and wife Tammy, Gary Harr and wife Niki, Cindy Edwards, Sherri Sluss Smith and husband Randy, Brad Harr and wife Jessica; 8 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 2, 2015 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at East Lawn Funeral Home in Kingsport, Tennessee. Funeral services for Ms. Leeta “Cleo” Harr will be Saturday, October 2, 2015 at First Baptist Church, 3358 TN-126, Blountville, TN 37617 at 2:00pm with Dr. Clay Austin officiating. A graveside service will follow at Gunnings Cemetery in Blountville, Tennessee. Pallbearers will be Gary Harr, Brad Harr, Tony Scott, Randall Sluss, Randy Smith and Tyler Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Clay Austin, Sid Lester and Ronnie Jones. Memorial contributions may be made to The Building Fund, First Baptist Church, 3358 TN-126, Blountville, TN 37617.
