Lorene B Comer

Lorene Brown Comer of Kingsport, Tennessee departed this life on Monday, December 25, 2017 being 88 years of age. She was born on May 28, 1928 in Marion, North Carolina to the late H. Clarence Brown and the late Mabel Weatherman Brown. On November 6, 1947 she married Jimmie Comer, who preceded her in death after many wonderful years of marriage, and to this union a son and two daughters were born. Lorene loved to play bingo or to sit quietly in a chair, nestled up with a good book. Often she could be found watching her favorite southern gospel artist on television. She greatly enjoyed her time spent with her family.

Lorene leaves behind to mourn her passing, her son: Mike Comer and wife Patty of Lyman, South Carolina; two daughters: Lynn Debter and husband Paul of Jonesborough, Tennessee and Penny Cox and husband David of LaVale, Maryland; three grandchildren: David Comer, Andrew Cox, and Mary Cox; three great grandchildren and one sister also survive.

A funeral service to commemorate the life of Lorene Comer will be conducted on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Lowe officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Chapel Of Memories Mausoleum at East Lawn Memorial Park with Andrew Cox, David Comer, Nathern Grills, Jarrett Glass, Paul Debter and David Cox serving as pallbearers. You are cordially invited to a time of visitation on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 9:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
