Madge Hudson

Madge Hudson, 90, of Kingsport, passed away due to complications from a recent heart attack. Born on February 8, 1925 in Coeburn, VA, she was the daughter of the late James W. Fields and Mary Belle Stapleton Fields. Mrs. Hudson loved antiquing, floral gardening, yard work and most recently Sudoku. She was a loving wife and mother who cherished her family. In addition to her parents, James W. Fields and Mary Belle Stapleton Fields, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, William Clinton Hudson; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Hudson; her son, William C. Hudson, Jr. and his wife, Diane; sister, June Penley; special niece, Glenda Wolfe; several other nieces and nephews; and her grand-cat, Michaela. A private service was held in the Garden of the Good Shepherd of East Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to FRANK (Feline Rescue and No Kill), 285 Rock Springs Rd., Kingsport, TN 37663.
