Mildred Jean Carr, age 96, of Kingsport, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 3, 2025 after a fulfilling life. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She was a dedicated worker with Roses department store for 32 years.
Mildred is preceded in death by her loving husband Evans Carr, sister Nell Everhart and daughter in law Jane Carr.
She is survived by her son Darrell Carr, grandson Joe Carr, her close and special nephew Joe Everhart, and niece Angie Everhart and nephew Jim Everhart. As well as several nieces and nephews as well as her adorable cat. She will be missed dearly. She has now joined her family in heaven.
The family would like to give a special thank you to all of the staff at The Waters of Kingsport.
A visitation for Mildred will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 12:00 PM at East Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 4997 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport, Tennessee 37664. A funeral service will occur Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 1:00 PM, with a burial to start at 2:00 PM.
