Mildred was a homemaker and member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of over sixty five years, Kyle C. Jenkins, three daughters, Kylene Sharpe and family, JoElla Carter and family, Sandra Robinson and husband, eight grandchildren, twelve great- grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and one sister, Lori Herbert. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 31st, at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, with burial to follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Organ Fund 800 Broad St. Kingsport, TN.
