Nellie is preceded in death by her parents Harry and Kathleen Hite, her brother Patrick, sisters Henrietta, and Rosie.
She is survived by her loving husband Steve Suggitt of 56 years, her daughter Brenda Manning (husband Mark), her son Donald Suggitt (wife Annie), brother Leroy Hite from Grand Rapids, MI and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday July 25, 2025 at 1:00 PM at East Lawn Memorial Park, 4997 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport, TN 37664.
