Pauline Riggs

Pauline Riggs passed away peacefully, on August 13, 2013, at Indian Path Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and a 60 year member at Summersville Baptist Church. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, John Riggs; parents, Willie Blaine and Flora Bell Depew Churchwell; and a son, Tom Riggs. Survivors include her son, Brent Riggs and wife Donna of Fall Branch, TN; two grandchildren: Paula Riggs of Fall Branch and Betsi Riggs Barnett of Surgoinsville; one great- grandchild Summer Barnett of Church Hill, and special friends Harry and Kay Wood and Cleo Helton. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Ron Bradshaw, officiating. Interment will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Garden of Good Shepherd in East Lawn Memorial Park. Everyone is asked to assemble in the cemetery by 10:45 a.m. for the service.
