Penny Colleen Love

Penny Colleen Booker Love, age 62, of Blountville passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born on September 18, 1962, in Sullivan County, the daughter of the late James and Eleanor Hickman Booker. Penny, a graduate of Central High School's Class of 1981 and worked at Terry’s Potato Chips as a packer. She devoted herself tirelessly to her community. With unwavering dedication, she became a beloved figure at DAV Chapter 39, where she played a pivotal role in the parades. Her warm heart and generous spirit also shone brightly as she helped the local food pantry, ensuring that those in need were nourished and cared for. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Linda Rosenbalm.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 36 years, Norman Love; daughter Candy Love and Jackie Elridge; grandchildren Jerry and Tristen; and brother Gary Booker.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am – 10:45 am on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at East Lawn Funeral Home followed by a Graveside service at 11:00 am at East Lawn Memorial Park.
