Phillip L. Hartsock age 58 of Kingsport, TN passed away on January 22, 2011 at home after a short battle of Cancer. He was born on March 21, 1952 in Kingsport, TN to William and Rosie Hartsock and has resided in Kingsport for all of his life. Phillip retired from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers local 934. Phillip attended Pine View Baptist Church, was an avid NASCAR fan, he loved blue grass music, rocking in his rocker, fishing and playing Rook with his son-in-law.

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Billy Hartsock.

Survivors include Debbie Hartsock of the home, One Daughter, Brandie Roller and husband Kenneth of Blountville, TN, One Son, Travis Hartsock of the home, Five Grandchildren, Josh Roller, Taylor Burke, Shyanne Hartsock, T.J. Hartsock, Tyler Hartsock, 3 Sisters, Dorothy Combs of Indiana, Gaynell Norris of Johnson City, TN and Naomi Rutherford of Kingsport, TN and several Nieces and Nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 24, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at East Lawn Funeral Home. Services will be Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 12:00pm with Reverend Jack Morelock officiating in the Chapel at East Lawn Funeral Home. Graveside Services will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park, pallbearers will be Josh Roller, Mark Davis, Eddie Cole, Junior Combs and Marty Norris. Honorary Pallbearers will be Buddy Wilson and Paul Roller.
