

“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord” (2 Corinthians 5:8) Randall Brian Trask, age 53 of Blountville, passed into eternal rest on the afternoon of Friday, January 22, 2016 after his battle with cancer. Randy was born to Margaret Nix and the late Frank Edward Trask on December 29, 1962 in Colorado Springs, CO. Randy moved to Tennessee in 2003 and he resided in Blountville for the past six years. Randy enjoyed music, collecting rocks, and artifacts. He leaves a legacy of love and friendship for his friends and family. Randy is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Donna Trask; mother, Margaret Nix of Lakeland, FL; two brothers, Richard Trask & wife Cricket, and Ronnie Trask; sister, Gayla Wheelis & husband Mike; “furry friend”, Macie; special friends, Paula Edens and Trina Arnold; and a host of friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date in his hometown of Lakeland, FL. The family would like to thank the staff of Indian Path Medical Center and Mountain States Hospice for all their kindness and care that was given to Randy during his illness. Also, a special thank you to Jami Lawson and the staff of East Lawn Funeral Home for all the compassionate care shown to our family.
