Rhonda Marshall Reed

Rhonda Marshall Reed, 41, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015, in the Johnson City Medical Center. She was born in Sullivan County, Tennessee, the daughter of Ronnie Marshall and the late Carolyn Louise Martin Marshall. Ms. Reed had worked for over fifteen years as a Receptionist at Holston Medical Group and was attending Higher Ground Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, Ms. Reed was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents, Roy and Nadine Martin and her Paternal Grandparents, Dewey T. and Lillie Mae Marshall.

Survivors include two daughters, Caroline Reed and Macy Reed, both of Kingsport, TN; her father, Ronnie “Brownie” Marshall, of Kingsport, TN; two sisters, Penny Fields and husband Darrell, and Vickie Wilhoit and husband Eddie, both of Kingsport, TN; four nieces and nephews, Cody Fields, Alison Rhea, Dylan Fields and Braydon Wilhoit; four great nephews and nieces, Ameron Fields, Bentley Fields, Annie Kate Rhea and Adysson Fields; a special friend, Ronnie Maxfield; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends Sunday, April 19, 2015 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral Services for Ms. Rhonda Marshall Reed will be held Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 7:00pm in the East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Shannon Salyer officiating. Graveside Service will be held Monday, April 20, 2015 at 11:00am in the Garden of Hope of East Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be her family, Cody Fields, Dylan Fields, Braydon Wilhoit, Eddie Wilhoit, Billy Rhea and Darrell Fields. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Higher Ground Baptist Church, Youth Ministry, 1625 Lynn Garden Drive, Kingsport, TN 37665.
