Robert Edward Johnson, Sr.

Bob retired from TWT after more than 30 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend; he will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his first wife, Diane McMillan Johnson; daughter, Sonja Johnson; sisters, Mary Burns and Ellen Johnson; brother, David Johnson; and nephew, Billy Veal.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Mary Easler Johnson; son, Bobby Johnson, Jr. & wife Andrea; daughters, Missie Wilson & husband Alvin, Beth Johnson & wife Jo; brothers, Stanley Johnson, John R. Johnson, Ernie Johnson, and Don Johnson; sister, Alice Bivens; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several brother and sister-in-laws, several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

The family will greet guests and share memories on Thursday (March 8, 2018) from noon to 2 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the chapel of East Lawn at 2 p.m. with Pastor Eddie McAmis officiating.

Bob will be laid to rest on Thursday (March 8, 2018) at 3 p.m. in the Garden of Gethsemane at East Lawn Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Dylan Johnson, Dalton Johnson, Shawn Wilson, Josh Wilson, Alvin Wilson, Bryan Johnson, Michael Easler, and Richard Easler.
