Robin was a devoted wife to Kenny Scalf and a loving mother to three beautiful children: Madison (10), Olivia (8), and Parker (4). Her children were the light of her life, and she poured her soul and energy into loving, nurturing, and teaching them.
Standing tall at 5’11” with a cascade of red hair and a vibrant spirit to match, Robin lived boldly and unapologetically. She was spirited, opinionated, and deeply committed to her family and her faith. Her sharp humor, tender care, and occasional fiery temper were classic trademarks of her personality.
Robin was raised by her loving mother, Denise Matthew, and her devoted stepfather, Jerry Matthew, who became not only a father figure but a guiding force and stable rock in her life. Her siblings—Ryan Matthew, Greg Matthew, Ryan Powell, Reid Powell, and Rayce Powell—will miss her dearly. She is also remembered by her parents-in-law, Leon and Regina Scalf, and her father, Earl Powell.
Robin's life was full of simple joys: her children’s laughter, the satisfaction of hard work, the joy of learning to bake all things sourdough bread, and, most memorably, her ever-growing flock of chickens. She raised them not just for the eggs but because it connected her to a simpler, more meaningful way of life and provided daily learning experiences for her children.
She lived on her own terms, loved with her whole heart, and walked through this world with an unshakable faith in God. Her laughter echoed through her home, her determination inspired those around her, her thoughtfulness touched her friends & family, and her presence left a mark on everyone she encountered.
