Scott Wallace Manning

Scott Wallace Manning, 60, of Kingsport, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Born on February 27, 1955 in Rochester, New Hampshire, he was the son of Jeanette Chiason Manning and the late Robert Manning, Sr. Mr. Manning enjoyed golfing for most of his adult life and had a career in the automotive industry in Kingsport. He was a trustee and an Elder at Restore Community Church in Kingsport. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Manning Sr. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mollie Manning; sons, Phillip Manning, and Michael Manning and his wife, Christy; grandsons, Adam and Jase Manning; mother, Jeanette Chiason Manning; brothers, Robert Manning, Jr. and his wife, Vickie, and Terry Manning and his wife, Robin; nephews, Jeremy and Jerrod Manning; niece, Celeste Hess; and several other cousins. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, July 29, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Restore Community Church. Funeral Services will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Doug Atkins officiating.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2015 in the Garden of Everlasting Life III of East Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Restore Community Church, 376 Bob Jobe Rd., Kingsport, TN 37663.
