

Aurora Nava Vidal, age 73, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Sunday, September 9, 2012 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born October 29, 1938 in Kingsville to Luis Nava and Carolina Salinas Nava. Mrs. Vidal, a homemaker, was a faithful member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She was also a choir member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and member of the Guadalupanas.
Mrs. Vidal was preceded in death by her beloved son, Rudy Vidal; parents; brother, Eulogio Nava; and sister, Margarita Soliz.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Roberto O. Vidal of Kingsville; five sons, Roberto Vidal Jr., Rene Vidal, Ronnie Vidal, Javier Vidal and Daniel Vidal, all of Kingsville; one sister, Lydia Barncord of Mississippi; two brothers, Alberto Jimenez (Olga) of Houston, Texas and Luis Nava (Suzie) of Kingsville; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place after 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 13, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Fr. Romeo Salinas as celebrant. Burial will follow in Kingsville at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
