Cherie McClenney Smith

Cherie McClenney-Smith, age 44, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born March 6, 1968 in Abilene, Texas to Douglas Bryan and Charlotte Alexander Bryan. Mrs. Smith was the owner of The Key Shop of Kingsville.

She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Benjamin F. Smith of Kingsville; four daughters, Stephanie Lopez (Ricardo) of Kingsville, Catrina Smith of Austin, Texas, Stacie McClenney of Kingsville and Kayla Smith of Austin; two sons, Dustin Smith of Austin and Quintin Smith of Kingsville; parents, Douglas and Charlotte Bryan of Kingsville; one brother, Doug Bryan (Tanya) of San Antonio, Texas; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will take place Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2012 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Vivian Wilkes officiating. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery.

Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
