

Mildred Henderson Chiuminatto, age 93, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012 in Kingsville. She was born September 23, 1918 in Newborn, Newton County, Georgia to Felix Samuel Henderson and Mattie Kate Reaves Henderson.
During World War II, Mildred worked as a welder building Liberty ships at the shipyard in Beaumont, Texas. Ms. Chiuminatto was an employee of Kleberg First National Bank for twenty-nine years until her retirement. She was a graduate of Commercial High School in Atlanta, Georgia and attended Texas College of Arts and Industries in Kingsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, John C. Chiuminatto; two brothers, Felix Samuel Henderson Jr. and Marvin Henderson; and two sisters, Mattie Kate Southard and Marguerite Carter.
Mildred Chiuminatto is survived by her son, Martin J. Chiuminatto Jr. (Mary) of Kingsville; and daughter, Lee Means (Jim) of Waukesha, Wisconsin; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church, 120 North Fourth Street, Kingsville, with Rev. Sheldon Johnson officiating.

Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
