Ralph Lee Davis Jr.

Ralph Lee Davis Jr., age 60, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012 in Kingsville. He was born April 19, 1952 in Kingsville to Ralph Lee Davis Sr. and Evangelina Pena Davis. Mr. Davis was employed by Texas A&M University- Kingsville as a painter supervisor until his retirement. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam Era.

Mr. Davis is survived by his beloved wife, Yolanda R. Davis of Kingsville; four sisters, Mary Derrickson of San Angelo, Texas, Janie Reyna of Moline, Illinois, Opal Alaniz of Galveston, Texas and Thelma L. Davis of Kingsville; two brothers, Alejandro Villafuerte of Houston, Texas and James Richard Davis of Kingsville; and several beloved nephews and nieces.

Visitation will take place on Monday, July 16, 2012 from 11:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 16, 2012 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Deacon Raul Rosales officiating. Burial will follow in Kingsville at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Veterans of Kleberg County Military Funeral Detail.

Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
