Rufina Zamora Zamora Resurez

Rufina Zamora Resurez of Kingsville, Texas, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2012, at the age of 74. She was born in Norhein, Texas, on August 26, 1938, to Bentura and Aurelia Zamora. Rufina was a faithful servant of God and a member of The Worship Center for many years. She will always be remembered by those who knew her as a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. Rufina will be dearly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eduardo Resurez; son, Andres Resurez; father, Bentura Zamora; and two brothers, Adan Zamora and Daniel Zamora.

Rufina leaves behind to cherish her memory five sons: Eddie (Rachel) Resurez of Ricardo, Texas, Ernest (Jennifer) Resurez of McAllen, Texas, Abraham (Sulema) Resurez, Ismael Resurez and Martin Resurez all of Kingsville; four daughters: Elvia (Jesse) Gomez, Sylvia (Valentin) Bazaldua, Mary Jane (Ruben) Morales all of Kingsville; and Melissa (Armando) Rodriguez of McAllen; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; mother, Aurelia Zamora of Bishop, Texas; four brothers: Santos (Librada) Samora, Ventura Zamora both of Bishop, Roberto (Josefina) Zamora and Noe (Matilde) Zamora both of Kingsville; three sisters: Eva (Guadalupe) Flores of Robstown, Texas, Elma (Jose Angel) Trevino of Edcouch, Texas and Olga (Guadalupe) Sandoval of Ricardo.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 5, 2012, from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel, Kingsville. Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Rufino Sendejo as pastor. Burial will follow the service at Evangelico Cemetery, Bishop.
