Dorcas Clark

Dorcas was blessed with strength, determination and great courage. Married at the age twenty-one to beloved husband, Norman Clark, they shared 62 joyful years. Dorcas became a full partner in their family farm and raised four girls. She was an accomplished cook, an avid gardener and loved nature. She sewed, crocheted, enjoyed camping and a good game of golf. Dorcas always put her family first, before herself. Mom always made their home open to friends and relatives. In retirement, Dorcas and Norman enjoyed travelling. Dorcas loved life and was thankful for everything she had.

Dorcas is survived by her husband of 62 years, Norman, daughter Debbie Gastonguay and grandson Michel (Kristen) step daughters Michelle (Kevin), step great grandchildren Lane and Noah, Ava and Kyla, Chantelle (Adam); daughter Hallie (Lindsay) Ogilvie and granddaughter Arlie (Todd), great grandchildren Sophie and Rylin: grandson Dan (Jennine), great grandchildren Kiara and Kostyn and grandson Connor (Kayla); daughter Colleen (Ivan) Leibel and granddaughter Jenna (Steven), great grandson Benson, grandson Brad (Jarod) and grandson Brian (Rachel); daughter Darlene (Wayne) Hoffmann and grandchildren Cody, Hailey and Brady; brothers, Ralph Olver and Marshall Olver (Lil), sister in law Joyce (Lorne) Pearson and many nieces and nephews.

Dorcas was predeceased by her Mom and Dad, Jesse and Mable Olver, brothers Hugh and John, niece Gail, Mother in law, Jenny Clark, father in law, Robert Clark, sister in law Eileen Clark, brother in law, James Clark, sister in law Jean (Clarence) Cantrill and brother in law John (Eva) Clark.

A public graveside service will be held in Graytown Cemetery, Corning District on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Lynette Callfas officiating. There will be a time of fellowship and lunch in the Corning Hall following the graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, in memorial honoring Dorcas’s life, contributions may be made to Grace Hospice, 2925 Reilly Avenue, Regina, Sask. S4R 8P6 and the Family asks that you plant a flower in her name.
