Ellen Marlene Cairns

Ellen was born on March 20, 1949. She married the love of her life, Jim Cairns, on June 26, 1970. Together they built a loving family and shared many years of memories.

Ellen was a dedicated nurse who devoted her career to caring for others. She worked in long-term care and case management, where she supported and advocated for many individuals throughout her years of service. Her compassion, patience and commitment to helping people made a lasting difference in the lives of those she cared for.

Above all else, Ellen was a devoted wife, mother and nana who cherished time with her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Jim; daughter Valerie and daughter Lyn and her children Niaa, Ana, and Ty; and son Jay (Dallas) and their children Jaxon and Makensi who all brought her great pride and joy.

Ellen’s kindness, strength and caring spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of life will take place and the date and time will be updated here.
