Katherine Elizabeth Fitzell

Born at the Hall farm in the Kisbey aera on April 9, 1922 and married James Fitzell on April 9, 1947 at Arcola, SK., they farmed around Kisbey.

Predeceased by her husband James, grandsons Mark St. John and Adam Fitzell, parents Wesley and Pearl (Osborne) Griffin, three brothers, John, Charles and Harry Griffin, three sisters, Luella Downey, Rose Bushell and one in infancy.

She leaves to mourn her children: Nancy (Doyle) St. John, Bertha Kovach, Melvin (Trish) Fitzell and Linda (Dennis) Hockley, brothers, Percy (Bernice) Griffin, Cecil (Patricia) Griffin and as well as her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held in the Stoughton Apostolic Church, Stoughton, SK., on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Ken Stoddart officiating.

Interment in the Percy Cemetery at Kisbey.

The family would like to thank all that cared for Katie over the years especially the staff at Willowdale Lodge and the Kipling Integrated Health Facility.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kipling Integrated Health Facility (Care Home), Kipling, SK., S0G 2S0 may be tokens of remembrance.
