Katherine (Kathy) Gale Biesenthal (nee Lewis)

Kathy was predeceased by her parents Norma and Leonard Lewis.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, William (Bill); her children David (Jaki); Brian (Traci) and Mark (Stephanie); and her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Brandon (Rosie) and their son Benjamin; Dalton (Kass) and their family Kam, Renni and baby boy arriving in July; Mitchell (Kayla) and their family Brooks and Kaysen; Darylanne (Kyle) and their daughter Marin; and Brittany (Waylon).

She will also be lovingly remembered by her siblings and their families, as well as Bill’s siblings and their families.

Kathy’s love for her family was the heart of her life and her memory will be treasured always.

A graveside service will take place in the Windthorst Cemetery on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Monica Dayman.

As we gather to celebrate the life of Kathy, we kindly ask that you wear a splash of color in her honor. Kathy was such a vibrant, colorful soul, who brought brightness to everyone around her and what better way to celebrate her beautiful spirit than by reflecting that in what we wear, whether it's a bold statement or a subtle touch of color. Wear whatever makes you feel like it would make Kathy smile. A luncheon will be held in the Windthorst Recreation Centre, Windthorst, Saskatchewan following the service.
