

Wally was born 1946, in Galesburg, Illinois, to Arthur Wallace and Marthabel Stephenson. He graduated from Galesburg High School in 1965 and Western Illinois University in 1969 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He married his high school sweetheart, Nancy Lundeen, on December 30, 1966. They had just celebrated 52 years of marriage in December.
Wally was employed by Butler Manufacturing Company for 38 years. He was plant manager for 26 years at Butler’s Annville, Pennsylvania plant until his retirement in 2007. Wally was dedicated to his family, employer, employees, and dedicated to the Lebanon community. Over the years, he served as campaign chair for United Way, board positions for Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce. He helped to establish the Lebanon Valley Partnership (LVEP) between Lebanon School District and Lebanon Valley College. He served on the Good Samaritan Golf Tournament Committee as well as board positions for Children’s Miracle Network. He was a member of Lebanon Country Club for over 35 years and also an active Rotarian for over 40 years. In addition, Wally loved baseball especially his Chicago Cubs which he proudly celebrated their 2016 World Series Championship.
Wally is survived by his wife, Nancy of Champions Gate, Florida; a daughter, Jennifer Reigle, of Annville, Pennsylvania; and a son, Jon Stephenson, and his wife Marlene of Duryea, Pennsylvania. He also had five grandchildren, Matthew and Mitchell Reigle of Annville, and Tori, Taylor, and Tyler Stephenson of Duryea Pennsylvania. He is also survived by a brother, James Stephenson, and wife Paula of McLean, Virginia.
Per Wally’s request, there is no funeral service. The family is planning a celebration of life event in the fall in Lebanon Pennsylvania.
