

David Leslie Morris was born May 16, 1973 in Washington, DC at Walter Reed Army Hospital to his parents Daryl Lynn Morris and Iona Marie Johnson. He passed away on July 7, 2015 in Kissimmee, Florida at the age of 42. David is survived by his parents, sisters Jacqueline Rodriguez and Madlynn Morris, former spouse Roni Morris and daughter Abigail Morris of Kingwood, TX, former spouse Wendy Walker and son Alexander Walker of Lufkin, TX, nephew Chris Clements of Colorado Springs, CO, niece Lois Moore of Colorado Springs, CO, step mother Claire Julian of Wimberley, TX and step brother Michael Baker, of Baytown, TX.
David attended Woodville, TX schools and graduated from Lovelady TX High School in 1991. He completed his bachelors and masters degrees at Stephen F. Austin State University, after which he did doctoral work at the University of Texas in Austin. Upon completion of his post graduate studies in mathematics and psychology, he accepted a position with Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, where he worked as an executive in the business department until his death.
David was loved and respected by all who knew him for his wonderful sense of humor, exceptional intellect, outgoing personality and giving spirit. He loved his family above all else, especially treasuring his children, Abigail and Alex. He will be missed.
