Dennis Dahl Willingham

Denny was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on the 4th of January 1954, the son of the late, Otto Willingham and Sarah Setser Willingham. He moved to Kissimmee at the age of 4.

Dennis graduated from Osceola High School class of ’72. He married Susan Marie Adams of St Cloud, Florida, April 8th, 1978.

His admiration for boats and the water at a young age sparked a career with Mercury Marine that began on February 11th, 1980, where his talents flourished rigging offshore powerboats at Mercury’s Test Facility “Lake X”. Denny passed away while performing Quality Control for Mercury.

A man that kept everything knowing it would be good for someone, Denny was a master tinkerer with a quick wit about him. A kind spirit with a soft heart Denny always kept a passion for fast boats, family and good friends.

He is survived by Wife, Susan; Son, Steven, Daughters, Megan and Sara; Grandchildren, Aiden Mottershead and Tyler Willingham; Sisters, Sheri Brammer and Marilyn James, along with several family members. Denny was predeceased by his sister, Velma Brown.

A memorial service is planned following the upcoming holidays.
