Douglas Howard Derflinger

Douglas Howard Derflinger, 78, of Kissimmee, FL passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Born to the late Edith and Elmer Derflinger in Plainfield, NJ on December 1, 1941. In the late 60’s, Douglas and his wife, Carol moved to Florida, starting in Orlando and then later to Kissimmee.

Additionally to his parents, Douglas is pre-deceased by his wife, Carol. He is survived by his sister, Carol Burns; nephews, Richard, Gary and Lawrence Burns and many other friends and family.

Douglas was a life-long roofer and he volunteered at Good Samaritan Society helping anyway he could. Douglas enjoyed playing pool and loved being on his motorcycle. He was known for being kind-hearted and having a generous demeanor but also having a great sense of humor. He will be missed by all who knew him.
