John Alva Higley

Born on November 3, 1956, in Chillicothe, Ohio, John was the beloved son of the late Robert and Johnnie Higley.

John grew up in Florida and attended Osceola High School. He found his calling in the automotive industry, where he spent much of his career in sales, forming lasting relationships and earning the respect of many. In his spare time, you could find John on the golf course and spending quality time with his family.

He is lovingly remembered by his lifelong partner, Sundra Whigham, with whom he shared many cherished years.

John is survived by his Children, Christina (Greg), Lindsey (Shane) and Jeremy (Maggie). His grandchildren, Camden, Kamea, Jacob, Janiya, DJ, Leilany (AJ), and great-grandchildren, Solara and Kataleya, and his siblings, Joe (Stacey) and Alan.

He is preceded in death by his siblings; Robert and Lisa.

A celebration of John’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and the joy, he brought to those around him.
