Lawrence “Larry” Tindell, 73, of Lake Wales, FL, passed away suddenly on November 23, 2015. He was born to the late Gene and Maebelle Tindell in Port St. Joe, FL on February 23, 1942. Larry was a hard-working family man. He was a construction supervisor nearly all his life within the painting/sandblasting industry for ships. In his early years, Larry served in the United States Army, Specialist Fourth Class as a Sharp Shooter in Korea. He was married to his loving wife, Margaret, for nearly 50 years. Aside from his family, Larry had a love of fishing, NASCAR and hunting, and was even awarded a Gold Medal for killing the world’s 3rd largest Elk, the head of which hangs in a business Larry frequented, as there was no room for it at home. Larry will truly be missed by his family and all those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in his passing by his brothers Tony, Robert, and “Jimmy” Tindell.
Larry is survived by his wife, Margaret Tindell; brother, Gene Tindell; son, Thomas Tindell; daughters, Tina Williams and Tammy Lee and son-in-law, Ken; grandchildren Jessica, Dylan, Thomas, Allysa, Katelyn, Emily, Austin, and Justin; as well as many other close family and friends.
