

Liliane Muldoon, 71, of Davenport, Florida, passed away February 8, 2013. She was born in Vierzon, France to Theodore and Jeanne Andre’ Robin on May 17, 1941. Liliane graduated from school in Bourges, France as a seamstress. She was married to Charles W. Muldoon, Jr. on December 2, 1961 at St. Anne’s Church in New Britain, Connecticut. Liliane worked as a seamstress at Marine Corp Base Camp LaJeune in Jacksonville, North Carolina in the Tailor Shop. Later, she worked at MH Rhodes in Farmington, Connecticut, and then Connecticut Springs in Farmington, as well as Quality Coils in Bristol. She had an adventurous spirit, with an optimistic outlook on life. Liliane was everything in a wife, mother, and friend. Her number one priority was spending quality time with her family, as well as making memorable life moments. In her youth, Liliane traveled to the Swiss Alps and took lessons in flying a Glider. She was passionate about sewing and could create anything by sight. Liliane was said to have “hands of gold.” In addition to sewing, she loved to knit and crochet. She also loved to visit new places and to travel all over the world. Liliane loved spending time in the company of her family and friends and eating good food and drinking good wine. She was a wonderful wife and mother.
Liliane was preceded in her death by her brother Jeanneau Robin; father, Theodore Robin; mother, Jeanne Robin; nephew, Philip Duval; and sister, Renee’ Duval.
She is survived by her husband, Charles, of Davenport, FL; daughters Michelle K. Sheehan and Matthew Besta of Enfield, CT, Karen A. and Robert LaFleur of East Hartford, CT, and Cindy J. and Howard Shelton of Port St. John, FL; grandchildren Adam C. Corcoran, Jeramy T. Corcoran, and Chad M. Shelton; and step-granddaughter Savannah LaFleur.
A memorial service for Liliane will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 16, 2013 at GRISSOM FUNERAL HOME, 803 EMMETT STREET, KISSIMMEE, FL 34741, (407) 847-3131
