Lucille F. Rogers, of Kissimmee, passed away on September 30, 2011. She was born on May 18, 1923 in Jersey City, New Jersey to Charles and Lucille Taylor and grew up in Avon, New Jersey. She was employed at Camp Evans during WWII, then at Breeze Corporation and Western Electric, both in New Jersey. Lucille enjoyed traveling, music and caring for her family. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her late husband Ralph, after celebrating 48 years together. She and her husband moved to West Palm Beach, Florida in 1974 and to Kissimmee in 1991. She is survived by her son Robert Rogers of Kissimmee. Visitation will be at Grissom Funeral Home on Thursday, October 6th, from 5pm – 8pm. Funeral Mass will be at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on Friday, October 7th, at 10am. Burial Service will be at Our Lady of Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery in Royal Palm Beach on Friday, October 7th, at 2pm.
